K9 Bane – Special Gifts and Donations

Day 349 Over the last week, K9 Bane and I have received some pretty special gifts and donations. This one came at the perfect time from Project K9 Services. A nonprofit dedicated to supporting service dogs of veterans, Project K9 Services deviated a bit from their traditional recipients to give Bane and I $1,000 toward his acupuncture treatments!!! His donation came in a special package, and he was so excited to take a bite out (literally)! I even received some very nice relaxation gifts to treat myself! Policing in America can be difficult at times. I'm between taking care of my family & Bane, I also have to be a full time police officer. It's easy to forget to take care of myself, especially when some of the calls recently have been tough. Thank you Project K9 Services and all Banes supporters for keeping me humble and reminding me that life is good!
